Jo’s mission is to make consumers realise they have a choice, and by speaking out together we can all make positive changes for our future generations.
ABOUT US
I'm passionate about organics. From the food in the fridge to the sheets we sleep on, my house is totally organic. My aim has always been to create something organic that’s also exquisitely beautiful. With the Jo Wood Organics range I’ve set out to capture the spirit of the exotic places I've been in my life on the road and every product has been made with love and care. I've worked with Europe’s most passionate and knowledgeable beauty and fragrance experts to create formulas and organic fragrances of depth and sophistication.

ORGANIC CERTIFICATION
There is still a great deal of confusion about the integrity of products being organic in the marketplace. This is why Jo Wood Organics has worked with ECOCERT to ensure we validate our products by the correct channels and have a stamp to prove this.
WHO ARE ECOCERT?
ECOCERT is an inspection and certification body who have offices in 18 countries worldwide carrying out work in over 90 countries, their activities are governed accordingly by the public authorities and legislation. ECOCERT has developed rigorous standards that allow companies to promote environmental practices, and manufacture organic products and obtain recognition for this. ECOCERT’S main focus is on ingredients proceeding from organic farming. By having the ECOCERT stamp this give Jo Wood Organics international credibility and reassurance with our consumers and the organic industry that we have complied to these standards.
WHY CHOOSE ORGANIC?
Organic farming is ruled by strict standards; at Jo Wood Organics we chose to be organic because we care about what we put in, and on our skin. Not only do we want to eat foods full of their natural nutrients, but we want to avoid using harmful additives and harmful pesticide residues on our treasured land and the plants we grow. Organic farmers cultivate healthy soil, which in-turn promotes animal welfare and the environment.
DEDICATED TO ORGANICS
We have great respect for the incredible properties of nature so we’re committed to making the purest, most natural products possible using only the highest grade of essential oils and plant extracts. Our range contains the highest possible percentage of organic ingredients and we ensure they’re from accredited and audited sources. We’re dedicated to finding organic alternatives for widely used natural ingredients, working with suppliers to boost the production of accredited organic crops.

We never use the following in any of our products:

Animal ingredients
Artificial colours
Artificial fragrances
GM ingredients
Petroleum derivatives
Mineral oil
Sodium laureth sulphates
Phthalates
Parabens
Chemically derived active ingredients.

Everything in our range is suitable for vegetarians. Our products comply with European and FDA safety regulations. The ranges are both made in Devon in the UK, and of course Jo Wood Organics does not support animal testing.
